The North Asia area may be divided into three first-rank tectonic units: the Siberia continental platform, the Verkhoyansk-Kolyma orogenic belt and the Centra-Asian orogenic belt. The second-rank tectonic units, including nuclei, fold belts and blocks, are subdivided in this study.
